About me:
Picture
Although being very artistically curious as a kid, I initially pursued my passion for technology and completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
I worked in various industries designing and building computer networks and servers, with some electrical engineering work thrown in as well, for 15 years.

Eventually my desire to reconnect with my inner artist led me to switch careers in 2003.  I've been focusing on 3D Animation, VFX, and Motion Graphics ever since.

Over the past few years I've gotten back in to skydiving - nothing better to clear your mind than freefall for a couple miles.  :)
Currently have my skydive D-License with over 500 jumps.
EDUCATION

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology - Computer Science with advanced Mathematics and Electrical Engineering emphasis
Full Sail University - Computer Animation

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

Have been creating media for broadcast, corporate, and films professionally since 2004.
Results driven. Great communication. Exceed expectations. On time. On Budget. Organized.

My primary tools include:
Autodesk Maya - 3D model, texture, rig, animate, light, render
Adobe After Effects - motion graphics, compositing, visual effects
PFTrack - 3D camera tracking

As well as many other programs to be able to complete a wide variety of projects:
Photoshop, Illustrator, Trapcode suite, Universe suite, RG VFX suite, etc.

Here's a quick video I put together of a recent day skydiving with my wife - we took an afternoon off and got in 2 jumps.
This footage is from a GoPro mounted on my helmet. The first was just playing in freefall, the second was a high pull where we open our chutes just a few seconds out of the plane and enjoy the canopy ride down - was the last load of the day with a beautiful sunset.
The tumbling we both did on the exit for the second jump was intentional - its fun :)
